Our Origin Story

In 2014, our founder Eva stood in her kitchen with a collection of dried herbs and a question: why does tea in stores feel so lifeless?

She had spent years studying herbalism, traveling to tea gardens in Asia, learning from growers who treated each harvest like a sacred act. But back home in Moravia, commercial tea felt disconnected from that reverence.

So she started experimenting. Sourcing directly from small Czech farms. Blending by hand. Testing ratios with friends who became her first customers.

What began as a personal project became Čaj Morava when those friends refused to let her stop.

How We Create Each Blend

Sourcing

We work exclusively with growers who avoid pesticides and respect seasonal cycles. Every herb is harvested at peak potency. We reject batches that don't meet our standards, even if it means delays.

Blending

Each recipe goes through dozens of iterations. We brew at different temperatures. Steep for varying times. Adjust ratios until the flavor unfolds naturally. No artificial additives. No shortcuts.

Packaging

We use light-blocking, airtight containers. Every label is handwritten with the blend date. Your tea reaches you within days of being packaged, not months.
